Corona Virus Alert

With the rapidly evolving situation, here and overseas, regarding the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, the U3A Deepdene Committee of Management has been in discussion over the past days regarding what action should be taken to best protect our U3A Members.

In the interests of the health and well-being of all our tutors, volunteers and members, the decision has been made to close down classes at all U3A Deepdene sites. At this stage, we will be presenting many of our Term 2 Short Courses using innovative and virtual sessions even if we can’t meet together! For this, we will be using Zoom and we have been delighted by the response of course presenters to the invitation to contribute to our program in this way.

Members are requested to enrol, on the MyU3A system, for classes in which they wish to participate.

Members will receive by email, on the day of the scheduled class or classes, a link to the Zoom session. The regular weekly email, summarising classes for the upcoming week, will continue.

Information on the virus and precautions you may take are available from the Victorian Government website.
